iamspartacus
Alot of pigeon shooters are looking forward to getting out and decoying over new spring drillings which will be going in around this time. But with the type of seed drilling equipment that farmers use now, I was under the impression that there is very little spillage or seed left on the surface. Does this mean the pigeons won't be hitting those fields hard or can I expect to see some big numbers on the newly drilled fields? Just curious to see what everyone here expects. HAMMY
They are just on the field for a shorter time! Hit the field and mop it up, the modern equipment is far more effective, but there's always something for them to have a go at. The key is know when it's getting sown and watch it every day, once they find it, it might not last long and they usually find it quickly.
