100e
fitted a nikko stirling scope onto rifle yesterday using weaver 1" scope mounts, noticed that the rear part of the scope tube is slightly larger diameter than the front resulting in the scope slightly tipping down at the front end , has anyone got one of these scopes and found the same problem, or could this just be a one off. also would it make much differance as is. Dekers
First impression is that something isn't right, take it back!
Oxon88
Sounds like its not right to me. Which model scope do you have? Are you sure its not a problem with the mounts? use a vernier caliper if you have one to measure the diameter of the scopes tube. kent
i think it might be the mounts being iffy rather than the tube, never even heard of a scope tube tapering
100e
Nikko Stirling silver crown scope. i suspect its the scope thats not right, mates Bushnell sits down ok on the back mount, but ill check with a vernier to make sure.
