Wild boar in Hungary

Went to Hungary 28/2 to 5/3 for some stalking on wild boar. After planning for months 6 hunters took the plane from Brussels to Budapest, and from there a 3 hours ride to the district of Boly, near the Croatian border. The hunting method was stalking, and shooting from high seats, no driven hunts. Each hunter had his own personal stalker for the whole week, for some this was good, others didn't like it. Two outings per day we had, in the morning from 05:00 untill 08:00, evening stalk from 16:00 untill 19:00. Normally it was only wild boar, but they didn't had there quota for roe doe, roe calf & reddeer calf, so we could shoot them also. The weather was not good for wild boar, snow & frost. Stalking in the forest was impossible, they could hear you from miles. Most boar were shot at evening, in the latest moment, when it was getting dark from high seat. We saw a lot of boar, but had to take care not to shoot the females, as they had small piglets now. One evening i saw 30 boars, all females & piglets, frustrating! We ended up with 11 boars, 9 roe, 5 deer calfs & 4 foxes. Maybe not the biggest bag, but we were all pleased with what we saw. Never i saw in my life more big game than in Hungary.

I will post some pictures, it can take a few days because i have to make a selection out of 370 pictures.
