BountyHunter
Hello Chaps As many of you will know I am a cheapskate and perpetually skint. How cheaply can I expect to pick up a legal 17 HMR? I don't worry about having the best kit or fancy woodwork or any of that marlarkey, I just want a plain gun which shoots in a straight line without doing anything too nasty to me in the process. So what should I expect to spend? BH

Gemini
Had to go to Worcester yesterday with my son. Whilst he was doing his business I went for a walk around the town centre and found a little gunshop. Had a look around and was staggered at his prices; £250 for an old Yeoman s/s/n/e. Some of his guns were just plain **** but the prices were top-bat. So I asked him how much his .17hmr ammo was……….£12.00 per box of 50 :o , and he thought that he was doing me a favour. Needless to say I didn’t buy any. G.M.

No its enough for me takes me 3 months to get rid of them many a time i take the hmr out all day and sometimes only have a couple of shots. Working that way ammo takes some getting through will use more in summer on targets. Do you use yours everyday then :o :o
