COLLECTING RAZOR FISH/CLAMS

Im going out next saturday (pressure permiting) This will be a good chance to collect for some free food, and a good winter cod bait. PLEASE MAKE YOURSEF KNOWN BEFOREHAND, and i wont be waiting. Leaving from ******* car park @ 1530 (3.30PM) and will be back at the car around 2000 (8PM. all times approx apart from leaving time).

 

 

You will need:

 

1 x bucket

1 pair wellies

1 x headlight

hey wont you need salt too thats how we used to get em just after big hooly tides :good:

Yup - a founding one - do a search on both the site and the forum, for 'razors' and you will unearth a mine of information.

If you sea fish anywhere 'local' > north wales to Morecombe then join forum now -- some will be out there too .. experts :D soon be flounder time .......... use up all that stinky old black and clear out the freezer a bit :lol:

Saturday is on. :good: Meeting at 4pm. Dont be late, as i wont be hanging around. Pressure looks about 1035mb, so its going to be good. If you want a load, take a rucksack as well.

 

Ill be leaving from LEASOWE CAR PARK. Its on leasowe road, wirral. If someone can show me how to link to google maps, ill post a link. Any probs, let me know.

Sorry I can't make it today - will be 1/2 ratted in Manchester by then ... and being led home by herindoorz by the time you have filled your boots :lol: :lol:

dont allways need salt,they usually sit just under surface and leave a tell tale lump in sand ,just sneak up and grab them before they dive for cover.personally rather bit of salt and sea water in a nozzled bottle me,a lot quicker inmho.good luck mate,im hoping to go monday or tuesday to get some worm and razors.
