Those crimps are actually finished on a MEC grabber which I cannot get set up to load properly so I only use the final two stages.

 

To get a deeper crimp on the Lee press you need to find a washer that will fit inside the recess of a new 12B cartridge and glue it onto the ram inside the crimp finisher on the Lee press. This will then push the crimp a little deeper.

 

Also if you have the column height wrong you won't get a decent crimp. I have found you need about 7/16" (11mm) of case left above the shot to get a decent one.
