the enigma
Evening lads........ Thinkin about getting a rimfire rifle and was wondering if any of you shoot with a ruger m77/22 mag. It's a nice looking rifle and the rotary mag looks like a tidy set up,but how would you rate it compared to the likes of cz?
Bowen20
I cannot comment on the ruger but the cz is nice and very accurate with a free floating barrel and a trigger kit you can free float your own for nothing price of the sand paper and rimfire magic trigger kit cost 12 quid once I did this to mine I regularly got half inch groups with good ammo. I looked at the ruger too and was going to get it in stainless with the all weather grey stock like a laminate looks really nice but I opted for a new cz at a cheaper price and was brand new with a 3 year warrenty. But I think the main reason I went for a cz was price and I've had a cz .17 hmr before and it was brilliant so knew I was on the right track. But I guess most is just personal preference. the enigma
Yeah, the grey laminate/stainless does look the part. I think it's gonna be a choice between it and a cz varmint.
Glensman
Yeah, the grey laminate/stainless does look the part. I think it's gonna be a choice between it and a cz varmint. I shoot the ruger, of my 3 rifles it's my favourite by far. I think my brother would marry it if it were allowed Main advantage is Fantastic handling and ridiculous accuracy. I put a Volquartsen sear in mine for about $6 which lightened the trigger, although the factory trigger (very heavy) broke like glass. Photoguy2910
I love my Ruger 77/22 but as has been said, you do need to do the trigger as it is just so heavy but once thats done it is a fantastic gun
