Just back from Catton Hall, both Seb and I will be looking forward to the next shoot there.

Seb had been beating me at Coniston lately and was in front most of the time at Catton today but I managed to pip Seb at the end by four, more luck than management.

But Seb posted is best score of his first 5 Reg Comps and was well pleased. and wanted to go somewhere else and do another 100 bird sporting.

We have to say a special thansk to Mr Potter (Andy) for meeting us and taking us round, but more so for the help and advice Andy gave Seb and myself when we were struggling.

It was good to see NickT and his mates starting as we finished,we watched the stands below the club and Nick seemed to bring the good form from kingsley.

once again thanks Mr Potter and look forward to seeing you again soon.

It was a pleasure Phil, glad you all enjoyed the day, Catton Hall is one of my favorite grounds, good mixture of targets all killable without full & full choke & size 6 shot.

Must admit I was surprised when the cards were totaled, I thought Seb had pipped you :lol::lol::lol:

The good thing with Seb is that he listens to what you suggest and as he's got young eyes and a mind thats receptive to learning it won't be long before he's ahead every week :hmm::hmm:

Thanks for not mentioning in your post the 3 stands that Seb whooped me (oh the shame) I don't know when I lost the ability to shoot simple low incoming targets that cost me 7 birds today, if (really the word "if" should be erased from the clayshooters vocabulary) I had shot those as well as you and Seb my 85 would have been a 92. :hmm::hmm::hmm:

Don't forget the two main things from today, footwork, left foot pointing to the point where you expect to break the clay and secondly, when you are at Coniston although you might enjoy shooting the Compak Sporting you should be on the skeet layout until you can shoot every target consistently.

Until the next time
