hawkeye185
Hi I have a brno fox mod 2 hornet (78) but immediately after the fox - mod .2 stamp there appears to be the letter k stamped into the metal it looks sort of genuine but isnt quite the same quality stamp as the others. Is there an obvious way for a novice to check if it has been adapted at a later date? if it has been done can i just carry on using winnie hornet ammo ? cheers hawkeye185. Catweazle
You can look at a fired case and compare it to a new hornet case. If the shape has changed near the neck then it is a K. You can use ordinary hornet ammo in it, the case will fireform to the K shape.

njc110381
Here's a link to a decent picture. It should be pretty obvious when you look at a fired case.... http://www.204ruger.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=7526&start=0&st=0&sk=t&sd=a
