abadshot
About a month ago a friend took me out to some land he has permission on, while we were parked up at the side of the road debating which field looked most promising a 4x4 pulled up behind, so we got out and spoke to the guy who turned out to be a neighbouring farmer, he tells us that there are hundreds of pigeons on one of his rape fields a bit further down the road and to fill our boots on that field if we wanted to. After a couple of hours there we head home and I give the farmer a call, just to let him know we've finished and got a couple of birds, so he tells me I can come back anytime I like. So I've gone back one or two times a week since, only to that field. I get there this morning and he's in his yard, so we have a little chat and then he says I'll take you round the rest of the fields I've got, off we drive and he shows me around, now I've got 180+ acres and to top that he signs a land permission form so I can use my .22lr for the bunnies (Just got to get it into the post to plod) as I'm not on an open license. Can't beleive my luck, there is a god Edited April 5, 2011 by abadshot

al4x
why have you got to post plod the land form? If its cleared then you are good to go and if not then you need to put in a request to get it cleared. Sounds good though land tends to come along when you least expect it
abadshot
My initial grant for FAC was for target shooting, thought I had to send in land permission to get my ticket sorted, as far as I know the land is cleared as the farmer has a .22lr of his own. If your initial fac was for target only and you don't currently have the vermin condition on your fac it is easier if you can send in a signed permission slip granting permission for you to use which ever gun you own on the land. al4x
check its cleared as well, it may not be depending on the age of the farmer
