MITCHF
Out on Friday night and looking for some new ideas. We use the old fashioned "hand & mouth" technique to squeek them in, happy days until your lips are numb What are the electronic types like, do you get results ? I've heard that some calls can be downloaded from the tinterweb, where ? Cheers, Mitch It's Wednesday. so the weekend is nearly here
ollie
I like yourself favour the hand and mouth call, I can control the pitch and volume quite easily, however, it does start to hurt after a while. I also like the widgeon call; it sounds very similar to the WAM call only a bit louder. If all else fails the polystirene gets pulled out and I must say it does the trick from time to time. Same experience for me,made an "El Cheopo Caller" as http://www.varmintal.net/coy5-20.htm but found the calls I got from t'internet less effective than mouth/Wam/polystyrene for fox, good for magpie/crow though(photography only for the punctilious ).Maybe we could do with some good homegrown UK mp3 fox calls to make the digital effective?
