killer_pigeon
you can buy any mod you like for an airgun without showing an FAC
Billy.
You could buy a sound moderator from a manufacturer, say Wildact (Centrefire Mods) and say you want it for an airgun. So long as it hasn't already been registered to a firearms certificate or placed onto a FAC rifle, you can have it 'off ticket'. Once you stick it on the end of a FAC rifle, it should then be added to your FAC. Now the mod is on the ticket and as far as I know, difficult to get it de-listed. Some people sell 'off ticket' mods on here, but I get the feeling they're not always telling the truth. Edited April 6, 2011 by Billy. cooter
The only options for getting one 'de listed' are to either hand it in to your FLO (like I did), or give it to an RFD. With either option you have to send in your FAC with a completed form 180/181.
