Reg Booty
Their Rookery is on the edge of a country road, so cant get underneath the tree to shoot them there as its less than 50m from the road. And I cant get near them at all ! Is the only option to hide and draw them in - if so with what ? Are they the same as crows when baiting ? Any help would be great. Cranfield
If you can't get where they live, or roost, then you have to go where they feed. Reconnaissance will answer most of your questions.

SNAKEBITE
If you are not causing a problem and shooting AWAY from the road are you not allowed to be within 50 feet/metres? Obviously common sense takes over but in certain situations is this not possible?
sussex
I use a little Owl Decoy and a cut open Dead rabbit this seems to bring all corvids down
Reg Booty
Slipster - if you are correct about the distance then yep, I'm in luck.
Lord Geordie
Just chop the tree down and they will be a point blank range As someone has suggested try baiting them with a rabbit slit open or a owl or hawk decoy. The rabbit may be better as it will give you an oppertunity when the rooks land to feed. LG
