officerdibble777
I'm going for a couple of rounds of skeet and possibly a couple at dtl tomorrow,it's the first I've been out since I had surgery to my right hand six weeks ago,I shoot lefty so I'm a bit unsure if I'll manage four rounds as my muscles have been relaxed for so long and the tendons are still tight.Be interesting to see how the scores come out john

paulos
Best of luck Don't too too much too soon mind From personal experience, try using lighter loads, like 24g until you are fully mended. I had my left hand put back together a few years ago and I still feel it when shooting heavier loads - it was really painful for the 6 months or so afterwards (I shot 1-handed for about 3 months because the recoil knocked it about too much ) Shoot well Edited April 12, 2011 by paulos

officerdibble777
in the end I didn't shoot skeet,I settled into trap and it felt great.Scores were three rounds 1st a poor 54 next two improved to 64 and 66 so I'm happy with that for a first shoot Just feeling a bit of an ache this morning, but happy thanks guys..john
