Very good :good: We've been meaning to get around to organising one of these at my strawbaler for months but its yet to be sorted :rolleyes:

Got a 525 bird / 4 man team one at the end of the month though, can't wait :D

Yes, i used mine last year but obviously you're only permitted to load 2 carts at a time. Still not sure which gun to use this time as it was great loading practice with the semi, plus it made reloading single carts easier and fast, but i think i was more accurate with the O/U, :hmm: decisions, decisions . . . .

This is the event;

Fully booked now but if anyone gets the chance do it next year, its THE most fun you can have a gun (even tops PSG for me, and THAT'S saying something :yes: ) 7 stands of 75 birds, 4 man team, about 250 carts each over the day, stunning surroundings - just make sure you don't burn yourself on your barrel when you're looking at them - especially if you use a semi :oops:

Our club dont allow auto's but i did pick up a few tips over the last two years and recent goes at this,

one was to change order of barrel firing on o/u so it fires top first, they say you don't have to break the gun so far

and its quicker to load.

The other in our case was to use two skeet chokes but as i did not have two i used one skeet and one cylinder ( blue band i think).

With me i have found when i do dtl, abt and sporting i dont seem to be as good when i am doing the flush, i think its because i may be not

thinking about where the clay is coming from or going to. With the flush i just look mount an shoot, no time for thinking.

But what ever it is great fun, even if i came last i would still be happy, recommend you try it if you get the chance.

Pesonally i think i just had one of those good days, coming second was good for me and in the afernoon on a pea field with my auto

i used 21 carts and nailed 12 crow and 6 pigeon so i was well happy.

glad u enjoyed the pics etc
