Can anyone knowledgeable about phone deals recommend a PAYG or contract deal that would suit. As yet I have no idea how many times it will trigger so I had best consider a capped deal just in case. Unless it's mounted inside a building then it will eat your credit in the first hour or so. The professional solution to this is to cable the camera back to a hard drive video recorder which is attached to an ADSL line and just get the alarm event manager in the recorder to email/SMS you when it goes off. Then you find an Internet connection, log in to your box and view the alarm events or live action. Boxes like that start at about £350 these days. Actually the service is awful and it may limit the choice of providers but there are so may wrinkles in the phone charging sytem I thought it was worth asking here just in case someone works in the phone industry. I'd expect real time video to be fairly cack over a bog standard GSM mobile connection - let me know how you get on as it'll be interesting. I bought an almost identical trail cam which doesn't have MMS a few months ago, wish I had sen that one, maybe it is the latest combo of trail cam and MMS.
