As per title i was out for a wander with the lamp and my lamping buddy and it was around half 11 there was a big hill to our left and we were sat under trees and could see behind us through them so we had all bases covered because the last few times ive been there we would call and scan round and see nothing, then one would eventually come in we would shoot that one then lamp round and another one would just be behind us so we always double check everywhere now espeically on this land. anyway i got laid down and started calling rifle at the ready as at the top of the hill there is losts of willows and im sure there are a few sets in there. About 30 mins later one makes its way over to us from the end of the willows i waited till it came in to the 150 yard mark with the range finders then dropped it on the spot no movement. lamped around kept squeeking nothing else about so off we went to the next place. it was a decent night from what i remember of it. thats the only trouble when finding photos from a couple of months ago. The photo was taken on my iphone so not the best picture. its just a chore trying to carry a camera aswell as lamp and range finder and a heavy rifle and ammo and it was cold so was wrappped up well and thats heavy. WHERES a 4x4 when you need one to just shoot out of lol.!! Oh rifle was a .223 Howa Mtc viper scope wildcat mod. Privy ammo.
