Hand Clay Pigeon Throwers

I am sure that I have sen these but I can't remember where or what they are called. They are rather like the long plastic "arms" that are designed for throwing tennis balls for dogs. Does anyone use these and if so are they any good for introducing teenagers into clay shooting. Does anyone know what are they called, how much (Roughly) do they cost and where could I buy one please.

All answers would be appreciated.

Thanks

£9-22 ish sportsman sell them but i would think most large RFD would have them not sure how good they are and i would suggest taking teenager to a clay ground for a lesson or 2 first of all.

SPortsman also have the champion manual traps listed for £26 ish exc delivery easier on the arm and more repeatable targets for a beginner i would think the hand thrower might be a bit like trying to shoot Universal trench!!!!

If i was you mate i wouldnot take him for a lesson, teach him your self, as my dad did ;) ;) ;)

Would give you very good 'father and son' time, but then if he does'nt seem to improve, then take him to have a lesson or two :good: :good: :good:
