shotgun storage.

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

This question was attached to a previous post but i thought id give it an individual thread as to obtain more direct answers.

I currently have a three gun cabinet installed in my house, but it has been rapidly filled to capacity. However, I find myself requiring just one more gun. The gun in mind is a 410 bolt action shotgun. I don't really want the extra cost of a new or additional cabinet so I am looking for alternatives. Unfortunately squeezing one more into the cabinet isn't an option for me. I was wondering if the bolt could be removed from the gun, thus rendering the gun useless for all purposes but hammering, and locking the bolt in the cabinet with the rest stashed away with a padlock behind the trigger (as already surgested)

All opinions welcome guys.

Many thanks in advance.

you used to be able to use a "gun clamp" in some areas , but i think they are now disalowed . must all be inside a cabinet im afraid . well norfolk any hoo .

adi

That's news to me, but things change all the time, a CABINET has NEVER been a requirement, secure storage is the requirement!

A strong room/ground anchors/etc are acceptable in the right circumstances.

But frankly in this case, just get another Cabinet! :good::good::good:
