Bleeh Posted May 5, 2011 Report Share Posted May 5, 2011 It's illegal to post an Air weapon as way of trade, according to the Violent crime reduction act 2006 (or 2007? can't remember). So, if you are doing it privately, it's perfectly legal. If you are doing it 'As way of trade' (Making a taxable income off it) then you've got to be an RFD and do it face to face. Too long, didn't read? ; As long as the person you are sending it too can legally hold it (over 18) and you don't make a habit of it, then yes you can. Most simple way to find out is to ask. I've send air rifles by royal mail special delivery several times, but not perhaps in the last year or two. I don't suppose much has changed though.
