12borejimbo
I dont have an air rifle but the farmer has asked to me get rid of a few bunnies in his daughters paddock, it's about 100 yards by 50 yards and I've heard about this type of low powered ammo for my .22 what are they like, can I use them in a magazine, is it a bit too much fr what I need? I'll be going to the gunshop tomorrow (Friday) so in will be buying them then with my usual purchase! Cheers all!
Beardo
i wouldn't bother - they're horribly loopy and group badly - you're better off borrowing an air rifle.

Beardo
tell you what - i've got a near full box of cb longs in my cabinet - you can have 'em and i'll have the Weihrauch?
12borejimbo
Hahaha, that says it all! The bunnies will only be 30 yards away, just too flat and there's a footpath fairly near! Just don't wanna risk it

Bewsher500
fine if you have a fixed POI and the ground is soft. I have used CB longs in the garden from an upstairs window, they are actually not much more quiet than normal subs they will still ricochet so I would say go with the air rifle. at 30 yds you could knock those off with a £20 springer. colin lad
i posted a thread asking the same a while ago and ended up buying a box took them out to try i found at about 25 yards they were 3 inch low at 35 yards even more and they get very inaccurate like nick i now have a near full box in my cabinet so as said before get a cheep springer colin ps. they come in box of 100 and cost £10 half the price of a cheep springer Edited May 14, 2011 by colin lad
