Rich106
Just thought I'd share this with everyone seeing as it's good to know what your gun likes and no-one can tell you which pellet to use as it's down to your gun and it's expensive to go out and but 10 tins of pellets ranging anywhere from £6-12. Ebay link: Air-Rifle-Pellets-Sample-Test-Pack-10-Types You get 20 of: RWS Superdome RWS Superpoint RWS Super H Point Air Arms Field Falcon Accuracy Plus Wasps 5.5mm Webley Accupell H&N Field Target Trophy Bisley Magnum Bisley Pest Control If you do buy this pack you also get a special discount for a whole tin of pellets of the above. UKPoacher
The thing is that over and over again the same pellets are recommended by experienced shooters. These pellets are; JSB Exact AA Field Accupel They win all the target shooting competitions and are used to good effect by hunters. If you can't afford these go for RWS Superdome. Sorted! Precisely why you get a sample pack, no one wants to go out and spend about £30 on pellets when you can spend less than a third of that and find out what your gun likes. apache
If you can't afford these go for RWS Superdome. Ah don't be silly - £10-12 is pocket money. 2p/shot. Pah. Get yourself a shotgun (Black Gold 24p) or a proper rifle (.17HMR 25p) each time you pull the trigger. If you can't afford a £12 pot of pellets then you really have something to worry about. dan-250
What .22 pellet size do you use, 5.5 ? 5.51 or 5.52 ? Is there a difference in performance ? As I've seen the jsb exact in all 3. Bit confused on this. Sorry if this is in the wrong sort of bit,
dan-250
Ah an does anyone use the bisely pest control or hollow point anymore ?
pabs
Ah an does anyone use the bisely pest control or hollow point anymore ? Yes, but for under 20yrd shooting. Just not accurate enough out much further. Pellet loaded backwards works rather well for up close shots on stuff you absolutely must ventilate with a large hole. Though obviously I don't recommend this, but works fine in my rifle.

Bit confused on this. Sorry if this is in the wrong sort of bit, I've always found the 52 is best. Engages the rifling better. Though as always, you gotta shoot and see what flavour you barrel likes. Buy a tin of AA Field 5.52 and you shouldn't go far wrong.
