Daveo26
A friend was good enough to let me tag along when he went stalking roebuck earlier this week. I really enjoyed it and would like to do more. I have my FAC but only have bunny guns .22 & .17 rimmies. Could anyone recommend a deerstalking guide around Yorkshire and also tell me what I should expect to pay. I am an experianced rabbit stalker and just want to learn as much as possible about deer. Cheers Dave

al4x
I have heard he can be pricy from a couple of people, best option is to look about for some cull stalking and go accompanied. I've been with a few different people now and learned different things from all of them, well worth doing just to be out on different land with different company. Richie10
If you can stalk rabbits with an airgun you can shoot deer. If are using a highseat you don't need any fieldcraft. The things you learn is shot placement and gutting and disease identification, even though even diseased animals you can eat. Deer identification should be learnt before you even think about shooting deer.
