Depends on how many batteries your charging. 12v will power some TV's , HiFi's, Laptops, You can even get 12v heating systems etc and of course it will power lighting too. Basically you CAN run a house on 12v if you set your mind to it. You can also put 3 batteries in series and use 36v and use a inverter to power washing machines etc. The possibilities are endless as long as you have a good bank of batteries Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I've got one mounted to my shed as it was difficult to get mains to the sheds location, the panels trickle charging a couple of 12v batteries which run lighting and a 240v inverter. Only reason I ask is that on the website it says it comes with a long warranty? = = Includes Each panel comes with self tapping ground screw, instruction sheet and warranty document. * Warranty 25Year limited warranty of 80% power output, 12 Year limited warranty of 90% output, 5 Year limited warranty of materials and workmanship. = = Also, how old is it? Jaminzx7r Posted June 2, 2011 Report Share Posted June 2, 2011 I can vouch for the panel and their "as new" condition, had one several months ago from HPR Munster, super item, BP panels are good panels, use the larger varities for work on offshore calm buoys in africa. if there good there, they'll walk any appllicatuion you have at home or in the field.
