Raja Clavata
My aunt has rented a cottage on land close to the M25 near Brentwood for a few years now. The cottage backs onto an area which is currently over-run with rabbits and has a healthy head of fallow and a few muntjac. In return for thinning out the rabbits I now also have permission to take the odd munty and fallow. There was a heavy cull on this land a few years ago and it has even been suggested I may get the nod next time. We're going to start off with a high-chair just by my aunts back garden so with a bit of luck I'll also get served with warm tea and bacon butties. Happy days. The key here has been patience. Dunkield
Good work, it's nice when a plan comes together. You could suggest the deer are managed year round rather than culled every couple of years? [i know we are inundated with nit pickers (got it right this time)ATM so I apologise in advance, but they are high seats not chairs...]
Raja Clavata
Indeed, I meant seat in my head but typed chair for some reason  Been busy and not spent as much time on here as expected but have kept the rabbits down a bit. My brother just secured fox control on a 45 hole golf course so another distraction for now but will get some proper time on this land soon. If the number of roadside carcasses are anything to go by, the fallow in this area are moving around a fair bit at present.
