wadingin Posted June 18, 2011 Report Share Posted June 18, 2011 I have shot quite a few rabbits in the last few weeks and finding they are carrying a lot of fleas .I dont want to have my game bag full of them does anyone know how to get rid of the fleas before I set of home . Dexterboyz Posted June 20, 2011 Report Share Posted June 20, 2011 think u might b tryin 2 fight a losin battle wit the fleas m8!!!! i'v hung them 4 days b4 only to come back and find there still full of em!! i once even put the rabbit in a vat of water for 2 days even still wen i skined them i was finding them crawling about half dead! would b interested to know if any1 has come up with a soloution to this though, bar skinning them in the field. Billy. Posted June 20, 2011 Report Share Posted June 20, 2011 Just let the game bag fill up with them. Ultimately you're going to skin and wash them, so it doesn't matter. Any that are left over in the bag will die off over a couple of days. Try having the carpet of your car literally moving with fleas and worrying about how they'll shift...
