Alex C
Hi Guys My year old lab is a bit of a chewer. She is steadily making mincemeat of her kennel and run which is wood so i am not too worried, she has now taken to eating her bedding. We have been using old duvets but since she wrecked the second one i have taken them out now and she just has a sheepskin in there now. I have heard that it can cause some real problems if it gets stuck in their guts so i am looking for alternatives. So what do you guys line your dogs beds with as i dont want any harm to come to her. Thanks in advance Alex

Thanks in advance Alex I use shredded Newspaper which you can buy in a compressed bale for about £6. I get mine from my local equestrian centre as they use it for Horse bedding. GW80
At this time of year i don't put anything down, but through the season i have started using cow mat which you can buy for a bout £30 quid in a large piece and cut to suit!
kent
nothing, they only eat it or pull it all over the kennel. second that one, though mines also a mitton hall one -just plastic and galvanised steel. I took advice from some Sheep dog guys round here they all said the same- more likely to cause health problems with damp, parasites etc.
