Hi Guys

My year old lab is a bit of a chewer. She is steadily making mincemeat of her kennel and run which is wood so i am not too worried, she has now taken to eating her bedding. We have been using old duvets but since she wrecked the second one i have taken them out now and she just has a sheepskin in there now.

I have heard that it can cause some real problems if it gets stuck in their guts so i am looking for alternatives.

So what do you guys line your dogs beds with as i dont want any harm to come to her.

Thanks in advance

Alex

I use shredded Newspaper which you can buy in a compressed bale for about £6. I get mine from my local equestrian centre as they use it for Horse bedding.

nothing, they only eat it or pull it all over the kennel.

second that one, though mines also a mitton hall one -just plastic and galvanised steel. I took advice from some Sheep dog guys round here they all said the same- more likely to cause health problems with damp, parasites etc.
