dont suppose you could give some advise my s410 gets filled with a pump but i let it run low on pressure i dint relise how low it was and now its released all the air but got it filled today with a diver. the problem now is it is holding 190bar but wont fire its cocked and theres no click when you pull it back even after you pull the trigger and pull the bolt back again. i was wondering if it could be a jammed valve.

cheers

I don't know if your AA cocking system works like my BSA but I jammed mine the other day

Was only second time out with it.

Somehow I'd double cocked it, pulled the bolt back which indexes the magazine, slide bolt fwd and pushed a pellet into the breech, must have done this 2 or 3 times and it wouldn't fire

Quick panic dash to where I bought it and he managed to clear it, removed the magazine, and pushed 3  pellets back into the breech out of the barrel.

Right, long post bear with me!

The AAS400/410 firing system is a spring loaded hammer which when released by the trigger his a protruding valve which is pressurised into bieng closed by the air pressure behind it.

Although its possible there is a problem with the valve usually the pressure behind the valve will seal it. It is holding pressure I presume?

When you filled the rifle from empty did you cock it?

Are you sure its properly cocked ???

You can view the firing mechanisms by removing the barrel with the 6 3mm (?) allen screws near the bolt.

When you say there is no click when the trigger is pulled, can you hear whether the hammer is moving when the rifle is cocked and fired?

On my rifle the hammer had seized on the rod al one point, which was freed with a little oil.

Hope this helps, if you decide to do any amature froensics on the rifle plrease remember that there is HIGH PRESSURE AIR contained within the rifle and this would be dangerous to you is you undid the wrong thing. I would recommend emptying it, if possible before working on it.

If you dont feel happy tinkering with it its either a trip to where you bought it from, or back to Air Arms.

hi i have had 410 for years if the rifle was out of air you must cock it before filling give the cocking bolt a good hard pull a few times,

i managed to repair it i could see that the bolt was no going quite furthernough so i took aport the multi shot part and found that was the reason why it was not cocking. luckaly saved my self a bill from getting a shop to look at it when it was a realy simple task. thanks for the advise
