How long it takes would depend on how strong the line is and how often you disturb it. They would probably return to it eventually. I have "moved" pigeons off a flight line during a days shooting, but have also shot a flight line on 5 consecutive days with no effect. dawntredder Posted June 25, 2011 Report Share Posted June 25, 2011 on my shoot they have 2 points ov entry so keep ya eyes open and watch 2 c if they coming&going and how regular they do it,got 102 2day and they used flight line on almost every bird i shot back 2 mora 4 round 2..unlucky...4 THEM! yickdaz Posted June 25, 2011 Report Share Posted June 25, 2011 we shoot at the face of a big wood every year around july before harvest the birds just seem to be drawn to flighting over the wood 2,3,4,flightlines over different parts of the wood so we spread out and shoot 2 lines we had 98 picked lost 8 last year purely flighting them,along with 40, 50,60,bird days brilliant shooting.
