AndyCM
Ok, now I have an incentive to either make some space in the freezer, have a BBQ (with Bambi burgers all round) or find some new friends to laden with gifts. After a bit of testing in the garden and driveway at home I got the hang of most of the settings & how to position this scoutguard camera for a reasonable result. So, in the words of a good mate "that's paid for itself already", I'd agree with that. Although, after 3 weeks in a field 40 miles from home when I decided to venture back to see what I'd caught......the best feeling was seeing it still stuck to the tree I had 12 odd triggers over the three weeks, with 2 false (as far as I could tell) although loads of reasons why that could happen. 10 good pics I'm happy with, here are my favourites ffrom the first real use> There are four here > can you see them ? Four confirmed, ready for the plate ! Solo Well pleased how this is turning out, at least that's confirmation that they are there and efforts to get one (high seat placement, feeding, salt licks, sitting in wait for hours) should be worth it. Maybe I'll get really brave and stick a SIM card in the camera. Oh yeah, no trespasses, dog walkers, busy bodies caught on camera......where are those dogging spots ? Mmmmmmm, I have a plan..... Cheers AndyCM

Didn't manage to crack the date then...? Useful (and expensive) piece of kit that - I'd have been pleased to find it still on the tree too after 3 weeks ! Hope the fallow turn up for you on the day - Do let us know.
