Alpha Mule
I'm getting ideas about getting a 16in barrelled toy (CZ 452 Silhuotte), but they seem to cost a fair bit more. So how much would it cost to have a longer barrel shortened, re-threaded and re-proofed?
Colster
I paid £20 more for my 16" LR over what I was quoted for a 20" but I'd also had prices quoted up to £70 more. When I came to buy the HMR I wasn't fussed so much about barrel length but did get a quote off the same shop I bought the LR and it was £50 more for the shorter barrel then. I doubt you'd get a proofed chop and thread for much less than that so I'd suggest shopping around and buy the factory 16".
