Stainless t8 mods?

What's your thoughts on stainless steel t8 mods? Has anyone got one? Not sure I like the look of them but I've seen a gun for sale which has one on

As with so many things it is likely to come down to personal preference.

The T8 is a perfectly competant mod and it could be argued it set a standard.

The down side is it is apparently based on a military unit that was never designed with longevity in mind and does without any doubt have a tendancy to rot! The stainless was allegidly introduced to address this issue.

There are plenty of other mods out there, and plenty are smaller and lighter, and some are even cheaper!

Cheers for the thoughts lads. I quite like the T8s and it comes with the set up i was looking at so size etc not an issue just wondered if there was any issue with them. I realise it will need covering etc due to glare. If they do last a lot longer than the standard ones i suppose its a good idea so i may warm to the look of it.

There are plenty of covers available should you decide you need to, there are also specialised paints as well if you need, don't try your normal Dulux :lol::lol:

Perhaps the general down side is size/weight, Mods are getting better slowly (there is only so much you can do) but commonly with reduced size/weight comes a very inflated price, life is a trade off.:yes:
