elmar fudd
ive always shot wildfowl and foxes with my classic sporting, as its heavier than my lowlander there seems less felt recoil, but its still knocks you about alot, so i've been thinking about getting a semi auto for them, as less recoil felt usually and a helpful 3rd shot just in case, as its a foxing and fowling gun its obviously goin to get a good bit of abuse, brambles and mud etc, so i wanted synthetic been looking at the urika 1 with synthetic stocks, and if its 3 inch chambered which i presume it is, its exactly what im after but cant seem to find any s/h ones by me does anyone know what second hand ones usually go for and does anyone have opinions about them? fudd
0145wirbelwind
I have seen 391 go for around £750 to £500 witch seems alot for a ruff gun. Have a look for a old Remington 1100. They did a 3" magnum with a 30" barral and that will do the job at half the money I have a 391 and a 1100 remington. I use the 1100 all the time for ruff shooting. I just dont mind if i knock it about so much. But it would brake my hart if i hit the beretta Edited July 11, 2011 by 0145wirbelwind

Catweazle
Push the boat out, get yourself a Beretta A400. It will take up to 3.5", and the kickoff system means you can shoot 50g all day. It's a really nice gun, seriously.
