i have no idea what wood was used on the gun, its not a "burnt" finish as it is the grain that stands out so well.

stock does look more plain compared to the fore end, certainly instantly recognisable as my gun ... lol

 

Action is very tight indeed, i reckon this is very little used and the Gunsmith did say it cost the owner over £400. Strange when Saddlery and Gunroom do them new for £322 (Yilditz or baikal) single.

Wood on the new ones is very different, action very much the same

 

it also came with a £60.00 long Beretta gun Slip ... all in all very happy with the deal for £250
