new to the flock
Had "Bitch" out to one of my training swamps today for some retrieves. This area will dry up in about a month, when it does I will disk it down and plant it with peanuts, for when it refloods in the fall. Makes a wonderful wood duck and mallard shoot.Holding around 2 1/2 to 3 feet of water.

new to the flock
Pavman; The area incompasses about 10 arces. I try to put about 3 acres of wild rice or a grain mix and the rest in peanuts or chuffa. Both of which are root bearing so when it refloods the peanuts or chuffa roots....similar to a nut float to the top for the ducks to feed on. The birds come in very fast and seeminly out of nowhere as the trees block their approach. It is mostly wood duck and mallard shooting not something you would like I am sure  NTTF
