Dunkield Posted April 21, 2006 Report Share Posted April 21, 2006 If you seal the wood first it shouldn't do it any harm at all, you will have to get all the varnish or oil off (if that is what it has) before you do anything otherwise it will just run off and look a mess. Not sure what you mean about the barrel, I am guessing you mean painting that black as well? not sure I would do that to be honest, but I am sure it is do able one way or the other Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

mossy835 Posted April 21, 2006 Author Report Share Posted April 21, 2006 i spent most of the day to do it,got all the varnish of rubbed it down and put mat black on it, came up ok happy with it will put up pics soon just letting it dry.
