fenboy
The pigeons over the last couple of days have taken a liking to the wheat growing behind my garden fence,i have some wires running paralell with my garden about 5 yards into the field and so far today I have managed to bag 9 birds off them with my trusty hw97 kt air rifle all neatly plugged through the noggin at around 20 yards I have a unwritten rule that any in my garden itself (which there often are) are safe but once over the crops on the other side of the fence they are fair game,a few years back I had about 30 in a week like this when the field had harvest peas on it. TaxiDriver
Just be sure that you have permission for your pellet to be flying over the neighbouring land (ie outside of your boundry) otherwise, technically you could be guilty of an offence
fenboy
I am fully aware of the law and the general licence , I have permission to shoot the land that the pigeons are over and unless my pellets are traveling over 100 acres I am fine! also the next nearest houses in the direction I am shooting is around 3 miles away.
