Dodgemball Posted July 31, 2011 Report Share Posted July 31, 2011 Got back from a morning of shooting and was dive bombed by this beast in my back garden. Can anyone help me to identify it? The body and head were about 1.5 inches long and with the feelers aswell it probably was about 3 inches long. sako751sg Posted July 31, 2011 Report Share Posted July 31, 2011 Woodwasp fella.I think they use the big thing at its **** for drilling into the wood and laying eggs,but maybe wrong.If someone is putting new sarking on the roof on a hot day sometimes quite a few come on the go attracted by the smell.
