mosa
I know this may be an unusual request but you dont get if you dont ask. Before i even think about going down the reloading route i would like to see what factory ammo shoots best through my rifle. At present i have tried privi. I intend to try winchester 100grn soft points this week, a friend of mine is letting me try 3 of his sako rounds so that leaves me with a few left to try hence the unusual request. I am looking for 3 rounds of norma & federal so that almost covers the lot. Is anyone in the north east prepaired to let me have 3 rounds (at a cost or swap for some privi)so that i can see what shoots best through it. This way it saves me paying £30 + for each type only to find they dont shoot as good as the others. Thanks in advance for any replies

kent
this sounds a great idea but do consider two things, 1. single 3 shot group proves little, you will still need to try a box and shoot multile groups. 2. batch to batch in factory can change zero and performance quite radically, even how the ammo is stored can effect it reloading is the way to go if you shoot over about 200 rounds a year but it isn't all about economics till you shoot a lot more than this its about getting what you want, how you like it, when you like it.
