crowcaller
WAS OUT WITH MY SON TODAY, NO WIND TO START BIRDS USING A RAPE STUBBLE OFF OUR BOUNDRY .WE USED TO HAVE THE FIELDS BUT SOMEONE BOUGHT SHOOTING RIGHTS AND HAS NOT BEEN NEAR SINCE RAPE WAS CUT OVER A WEEK AGO, NOR WHEN BIRDS ON IN WINTER.WE SET UP IN LARGE BRACKEN BED AT THE BACK OF A WOOD THAT WE CAN SHOOT, THAT A FRIEND RENTS, WE SET ROTOR ON THE DITCH ON OUR SIDE KNOCKED SOME FERNS DOWN SO IT WAS MORE VISIBLE. WE HAD BIRDS COME ALONG WOOD SIDE AND EVEN PULLED SOME THAT WERE FLYING OVER THE RAPE, IT WAS SLOW GOING BUT WE STILL GOT SPORT , THEN THE WIND PICKED UP AND THE FLIGHT LINE WAS NONE STOP ALONG A RAIL LINE OVER THE FAR END OF THE RAPE IT WAS FRUSRATING BUT WE STILL GOT SOME AS THEY CAME BACK FROM FEEDING ON THE RAPE,WE STUCK IT OUT AND HAD 32 BIRDS BUT IF WE STILL HAD THE FIELDS WHAT A BAG WE WOULD HOPEFULLY HAVE HAD,
