955i
Hi all, due to business not performing as well as hoped I am starting to have to face up to the fact that I may have to let my beloved Disco go for something more practical :( While not a definate yet, I would like peoples views on how much I should ask. It has had a fair bit of work over the last year (new airbags on rear, hoses, waterpump, starter motor) and last month had a new engine fitted which the seller guaranteed had only done 22K (have the ebay listing printed out and am contacting seller to get written confirmation) although the clocks still read 130000 from the original engine. As this is the case, do people think asking 4500-5000 for it is unreasonable? It is in pretty good nick and is a 2000 MY XS version. Any advice appreciated
stokie
£3425 is the list price on what car . The fact the engine was replaced doesn't make it a low milage car Without a warranty on the engine it's nothing special and not being funny but do you trust every thing you read on.eBay
955i
not being funny but do you trust every thing you read on.eBay Definately not However, the guy said he was happy to send written confirmation of the vehicle it was taken from and the mileage so no real reason to disbelieve him (yet). Thought it may be a bit ambitious which is why I floated the idea here first Edited August 15, 2011 by 955i
