well what a good evening out, decide as therewas nath allon tv id have a walk so loaded up the shotie anf the rifle. started a bit slow not much around but was niceas the feilds had been cut, found a nice little place to sit watching the world go by when a pigeon landed in front of me easy enuff got my pigeon for the next hour they came in steadly and managed to get 9. it was now turning into night so i headed for the car toget the rifle got chatting with the farmer and then a cuppa tea with him too, it was now dark so got the lamp and rifle out to see what was around could see the rabbits at the top of the farmer so i worked my way up got settled and waited for a decent bunny to appear after a bout ten mins a nice little fat rabbit popped up so i took my shot no more rabbit, couldnt seemuch more around so i thought thats it i'll call it a night on the way back to the car i had to go past the duck pens had a little look around and seen some eyes looking at me. got meself ready turned the lamp back on and took my shot mr charlie turned so he got a .17hmr in to his stomach so he ran round the duck sheds so i followed him round and watched as he dropped about 100 yards away. as i was taking this photo i looked up and seen a shooting star it was a perfect end to a good evening shooting 2b8eeb85.jpg

just out of curiosity, why shoot charlie in the stomach?? why not the head or the engine room?

it does mention he took the shot and the fox turned so got it in the stomach...

just reread it, i am sure he didnt mean to shoot it in the stomach!

Sounds like a nice way to spend an evening! :good:
