jez28
So i went out today for an afternoon on some wheat stubble. Id been watching it for the last week and sorted out a good place for the hide etc and seen plenty of birds feeding. I had my father in law with me so wanted to make a good impression! Imagine my dismay when id just set up the hide and a bloomin great tractor came roaring around the corner to start ripping the field.... So back to an old place where we chatted the afternoon away and shot nil...... Bad times.....

lacrowbasher
I had that Sunday big combine 2 tractors and trailer turned up to cut rest of the wheat. Then he said carry on shooting I looked round and thought well I won't put up what I thought!!
Kes
I reckon this is what happens more often than not unless you are close to a professional. I'm off later today to try and confirm permission to shoot over a crop of standing barley which is being hit. I bet it is being harvested when I turn up with the hide !!! Good luck next time.
