leeds chimp
I am trying to find a copy of the guidelines for police for when dealing with a change to a FAC and what is and is not needed as Norfolk Firearms are wanting to make me jump over fences, then under the barbed wire then swim the river to get the the cliff to climb....... :yp: Found the above but it only says about security and not what I am really looking for

Dekers
Your signature suggests you are a member of the BASC, by all means do some research and try, but I would have thought it easier to take your case to the BASC for help/advice! leeds chimp
just spoke to them again. Looking et filling the .17hmr slot and to use it on some of the farms they need to clear it again only done to .22lr. So Thats about 3600 acres over 5 places to check again and they still not done the Change yet

Just write on a piece of paper: To whom it may concern; I give 'Leeds Chimp' permission to shoot fox and deer on my land with a .243 Winchester Rifle. Signed Mr A Farmer A Farm Just ask them to sign it. When you say swap an air rifle for .243 and mod, did you have a mod listed for the FAC air? If you did (and you are not increasing your firearms holding, bearing in mind a moderator counts) then it is free. They cannot charge you. My best bit of advice - move to North Yorkshire. Just had land cleared and permission confirmed in a phonecall to the farmer during my variation interview. No extra paperwork, we all have open certs and he doubled my .22RF ammo holding as I was using it regularly. Sorry
leeds chimp
having to pay the fee as adding the mod on as did not have one listed for the air rifle. As the paperwork side i already have permission slips signed but they want another one to say the above. Surely if i have permission to shoot it should not matter to them what and when as Thats between me and the landowner aslong as its within my cert
