shoughton
im guessing a trip to gunsmith but is there a way of telling if its the ejector itsself or somthing else This symptom was covered recently in Sporting Gun in the gun smith section. The cause was a slightly bent ejector - he literally straightened it and put it back (albeit with some general tidying up with emery cloth etc). It all depends how mechnically competent you are. Removing/refitting ejectors is fairly easy on most guns - but if you aren't confident then a gunsmith is a obviously a safer bet. It will cost you more (both in cash and pride) if you finish up taking a bag of bits to the gunsmith! Please let us know the outcome Steve
Andy H
I have seen it quite a few times the most recent was a batch of D&J's with the rim diameter just a tad to small allowing the rim so slip under the ejector.
VicW
I have just had this problem fixed on my Nikko. The ejector would slip past the cartridge on ejection. Not all cartridges were affected. I use an excellent gunsmith near me who fixed it in half an hour. He slightly bent the ejector and took some play out of the slot it slides in. Vic.
