caeser
Managed to get on the last wheat stubble field before they ploughed it yesterday.(thursday) Took 'limestone cowboy' along with me. Saw a few pigeons on arrival, but not hundreds. Set up next to a haybale. Really slow to start with, but once I'd got a couple of birds for the rotary and the flapper, it picked up quite well mid afternoon. Then slowed to a trickle again later. Anyway it was a great day.(Aren't they all) We ended up with 87 woodpigeons, 6 crows, 4 rooks, 4 jackdaws.

caeser
It was a good hide. The roof bit really helped, before we put that on ,they were being spooked really easy. Here's a zoom in , so you can see it a bit better Edited September 9, 2011 by caeser

limestone_cowboy
Another quality day out! Not only did we (mainly caeser) manage to get a decent bag but we had a real laugh too! Personally I don't think it's about the size of bag more the quality of the whole day out Thanks again Steve, Regards LSC
