Last of the wheat stubble

Managed to get on the last wheat stubble field before they ploughed it yesterday.(thursday)

Took 'limestone cowboy' along with me.

Saw a few pigeons on arrival, but not hundreds.

Set up next to a haybale. Really slow to start with, but once I'd got a couple of birds for the rotary and the flapper, it picked up quite well mid afternoon.

Then slowed to a trickle again later.

Anyway it was a great day.(Aren't they all)

We ended up with 87 woodpigeons, 6 crows, 4 rooks, 4 jackdaws.
