ziplex
I'm not so sure, i fell asleep in the hide, and when i woke up my bum weren't half sore seriously tho, couldn't want for a better morning, i couldn't miss, just off the lake and right over my head Fantasy stuff that.......the very first clear shot at a goose I had a few years back when starting out in wildfowling I fluffed, was sat on the marsh, tide creeping in to the point I had to move back a few yards as the water was lapping at my feet, so put the safety on dropped back a bit and with that 6 geese appeared from out of the mist heading right towards where I was crouched (wonderful sight). I waited, and waited then rose up pulled the trigger and nothing , the geese veered away to my right and directly over the club chairman who dropped one. The walk back to the car was one of total dejection (always check the safety now)

silpig5
these are inland pinks , on a 2 acre lake that they love each year and get fed lots by the happy campers that surround they opposite side of lake . every year 2 seperate skeins around 30 in each , have seen 100+ one year . gram sunk down in the long grass right in the corner of my boundry and they got up perfect , straight take off and peeled straight over him.i couldnt manage good shots and didnt want to drop one in the 5ft maize . again well done mate and we will do it again soon , the same as the salt licks now i have seen how many are living in the ditch !! happy days
