durbsguy
If I remember correctly they are around the £70 mark, same price as the Vmach. Here is a strip down guide. I am an accountant so I'm good with figures but useless when it comes to working with my hands so I have someone do the work for me. thehoff
Do they take them over the 12lb mark?
durbsguy
I'm not too sure haven't applied for my FAC yet
MattF
It will take them over if you dont build them correctly and test with a cronograph after to see if you have the correct amount of shiming in. I have not done one but a friend has done a few and it takes a bit of work to get the ftlb correct or you could drop straight on the correct build. AdyS
Check out T.W Chambers website.Go to "tuning" it shows a complete breakdown of the 97.Chambers will have everything you could need!! Not a difficult tune up but very easy to go above 12flb.Crony it and be prepared to take it apart a few times.
flukeyluke
If anyone in the south is looking for a airgun tuner that specializes in springers then look no more,i have found him, names mike and he is situated in poole dorset. Just dropped my rifle off to him for a full custom tune, and the price he said will be around a measly £70,i can post a link to his website if anyone would like it,he also does work on the cylinder port etc and i think he is the only tuner in the south, well the only one i could find, very friendly bloke. Get my rifle back in around 2 weeks i will be sure to post on what i think of his work. Edited September 15, 2011 by flukeyluke
