Whitebridges
That brings it all back davey,i remember why i chucked the skate fishing 15yrs ago...it's to much like hard work We had a great long weekend fishing out of Oban late May bank holiday. Caught a flight from Norwich to Edinburgh, hire car to Oban fishing by early afternoon same day. Fished with Ronnie and another charter the name of which escapes me. We had three largish skate 2 at 202lbs and my tiddler at 193lbs. The two larger fish were caught when the tide was running. One took 1hr 23 minutes to boat. I caught mine at half slack and had it boated, photo'ed and released in 35 minutes. Killer fish but I enjoyed the trouting, pollack fishing, and loch Etive as much as hauling these terrific fish up from the depths below.
